Dubb wins Pipe

Dave Hubbard has finished the 3 year peat of Bud Miyamoto's Pipe crown with a win today over DKS Champ Kim Feast. Dubb scored some sweet pipe openers to finish infront of Feasty, Ricky Alvarez, Bud Miyamoto, Sasha Specker and Jacob Pembooke. Feasty would have had the title with a massive backdoor cavern but was unable to bust thru the final hole and make it out. No doubt it would have been 10's!

This is the email from Lackey on his recent decision....

As of today I am no longer riding for Billabong. After representing the label for 7 years an offer was on the table for 2010, however I have decided to walk away from my relationship with the surfing giant. Instead I will head in a new direction. This direction is with a new bodyboarding wetsuit label, and this decision will allow me to ride for a company with an artistic and creative vision, and a high quality product that I believe will become a benchmark in the industry. An official announcement on this label will be made in weeks to come

DKS would like to wish all competitors good luck for the IBA's DK PRO that has been announced at Pipe - on another note we are getting pretty dam excited and the count down is on for DKSessions 2010 in Port Macquarie and Pacific Palms. With a line up like no other including reigning champ Kim Feast, International star Manny Vargas and hot rats Micah McMullin, Dane Pope, Justin Welsh and Jake Sharp, this is the real deal and time to earn your street cred on the world platform of DKS. Not one rider has been able to win this event 2 years in a row due to the feirce competition and amazing talent pool that just keeps coming out of DKS.
